Email from StrydeOS

Last reviewed 6 November 2026

Why an email from StrydeOS might reach you, what to expect, and how to stop it. You do not need an account or a login for any of this.

Stop emails in one step

Reply to any email from us with the word stop, or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of it. Either one ends the emails, and we keep your address on a suppression list so we do not write again.

You can also write to hello@strydeos.com. A person reads it.

Who sends it

Jamal Ofori-Adu writes the emails, for StrydeOS, from West Hampstead, London. Jamal is a physiotherapist who runs a private clinic and built StrydeOS from running it. Every note is signed by him.

Why you might hear from us

We write to owners and managers of private practices, using a business address that is published on the practice website or a public register such as Companies House. We write because the software may be useful to a practice like yours, and that is the legitimate interest we rely on under UK GDPR.

Where the practice is a sole trader or a partnership, the rules treat the address as personal, so we write only when you have asked to hear from us or when the soft opt-in applies. If we have that wrong, tell us and we stop at once.

What we send, and how often

  • A short run of four notes over about ten days, each one saying something specific and each one skippable.
  • If you do not reply, at most one note each quarter after that.
  • Nothing at all once you reply stop, unsubscribe, or tell us you are not interested.

We never email patients as part of this. If you are a StrydeOS customer, product emails such as alerts and weekly summaries follow the switches under Settings, Email preferences, and carry the same unsubscribe link.

Where your data is held

For these emails we hold your name, business email address, practice name and website, and a record of what we sent and whether you replied or opted out. It sits in a managed database with encrypted storage and role-restricted access. We delete it when you ask, apart from the suppression entry that stops us writing again. The full policy is on the privacy page.
